The Department of Voters Registration and Elections will provide material including but not limited to Ballot Translation Guides, Voter Information Guides, voter education documents, and brochures/flyers to be translated into the following languages: Chinese (Traditional), Hindi, Hmong, Japanese, Korean, Laotian, Mien, Punjabi, Spanish, Tagalog, Telugu, Urdu, and Vietnamese. The translated voter outreach and education materials are intended for voters, community members, and partners to print and distribute to voters with a limited-English proficiency to ensure they are informed with updates regarding the election and participate in the election process and cast a well-informed ballot. The historical annual spend for these services is approximately $100,000.
