Category 1: Instruction (ITV) a. ITV is a sole proprietor that is contracted directly with the LEA/LAUSD and cannot be considered “key personnel” as part of a firm/agency. b. ITV must meet applicable State and District teacher certification and licensure requirements, and possess at minimum, a bachelor’s degree. c. ITV shall hold one or more of the following current credentials: Elementary – Multiple Subject Credential Single Subject Credential in reading/language arts, mathematics and/or science d. ITV must have English Learner Authorization. e. ITV must meet required competencies prescribed under state and federal requirements. f. ITV must possess a minimum of five (5) years of verifiable experience in providing supplemental reading/language arts, mathematics and/or science to eligible Title I students in a public or non-profit private school setting preferably serving an economically and culturally diverse urban community. Category 2: Instruction (Firm) a. Contractor/Firm must possess a minimum of five (5) years of verifiable experience in providing supplemental reading/language arts, mathematics and/or science to eligible Title I students in a public or non-profit private school setting preferably serving an economically and culturally diverse urban community. b. Contractor/Key personnel must possess a minimum of two (2) years of verifiable experience in providing supplemental reading/language arts, mathematics and/or science to eligible Title I students in a public or non-profit private school setting preferably serving an economically and culturally diverse urban community. c. Contractor/Firm’s key personnel must be employees of the firm and not subcontractors. Category 3: Academic Counseling a. Contractor/Firm must possess a minimum of five (5) years of verifiable experience providing Academic Counseling to eligible Title I students in a public or non-profit private school setting preferably serving an economically and culturally diverse urban community. b. Contractor/Key personnel must possess a master’s degree and meet applicable State counselor certification and licensure requirements (i.e., PPS, LPCC, MFT, etc.). c. Contractor/Key personnel must possess a minimum of five (5) years of verifiable experience providing Academic Counseling to eligible Title I students in a public or nonprofit private school setting preferably serving an economically and culturally diverse urban community. d. Contractor/Firm’s key personnel must be employees of the firm and not subcontractors.
