Specifications include, but are not limited to: The required services consist of creating and executing successful marketing strategies for the Theatre Series of five (5) productions (plays and musicals) and up to three (3) special events (headliner comedian, famous band, etc.). The Marketing Director will serve as the chief storyteller for the theatre, building campaigns and materials that help to share La Mirada Theatre’s story. Areas of responsibility include: STRATEGY • Identify and develop key buyer personas to target various types of shows to increase effectiveness of messaging and channel selection, drive patron loyalty, and maximize revenue. PRINT • Plan and execute print campaigns (book ad space, design, proof, submit, etc.) using newspapers, magazines, weekly periodicals, ad space in local playbills, the City’s own quarterly magazine, flyers, and direct-mail postcards. DIGITAL/ONLINE • Plan and execute robust digital ad campaigns with various vendors. • Take advantage of the latest digital strategies and tools such as paid display re-marketing ads, target lookalike audiences, Facebook custom audiences, Google smart display campaigns, exit intent pop-ups. • Serve as Social Media Manager: Work with Theatre staff on maintaining and updating all social media platforms, overseeing content creation and leveraging social media influencers/celebrities to drive patron interaction and engagement. • Create e-blasts; Coordinate schedule with Theatre staff • Determine most appropriate platforms for engagement – Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, etc.
