Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Bureau of Engineering (BOE), Geotechnical Engineering Division (GED) is requesting a Task Order (TO) Proposal from a consulting firm (Consultant) for the Sylmar Senior Center Project (Project). The Project site, as shown on Figure 1 – Site Vicinity Map, is located near the Polk Street and Fellows Avenue intersection in Sylmar, California. The Project site is within the existing Sylmar Recreation Center property, and the property address is 13109 Borden Avenue. The Project consists of constructing a single-story building that will occupy a footprint of approximately 3,500 square feet. The Project also includes approximately 1,000 square feet of external living space and landscaping. The proposed building will be located adjacent to the existing parking lot in the northwestern portion of the recreation center property. Tasks will consist of field exploration, laboratory testing, and preparation of a data report that summarizes the findings. The TO proposal shall contain descriptions of each task and associated costs required by this TOS.
