A. Site Visit Confirming Equipment Types & Locations B. Generate Work Plan Sequence C. Coordinate with the University BMS Operators to get the system to the desired operating conditions for testing. D. Perform a Test & Balance assessment on locations indicated per the attached documents dated with calibrated equipment and in conformance with ASHRAE standards to measure/ document the following, including but not limited to: a. Air Flow 1. Measure air flow CFM rates for supply and return as well air changes where applicable. 2. Confirm Room Pressure to adjacent room. 3. Perform adjustments to the existing system to reach optical air flow readings, coordinate with building BMS operators when minor room adjustments do not meet the optimal air flow. Record and note all rooms that are out of compliance with the provided targets. E. Following the testing phase of the T&B scope, a balancing of the system will be required due to areas within the existing space moving from a positive condition to a negative condition and negative areas moving to positive. With the restricted timeline on this project the bidders should assume separate teams, balancing of the areas will need to start following the completion of the testing in each facility. F. Bidders will need to provide a preliminary testing report identifying current air flow and POS/NEG conditions at the end of each work day and preliminary building report within 24 hrs of the completion of a building. G. Perform non-destructive visual inspection looking for signs of damage, loose connections, wear, unsafe conditions, or relevant conditions. H. At completion of project, provide a complete report documenting findings, measurements, and observations required per above. Report shall at a minimum indicate: a. Executive Summary b. Building c. Room No. d. Air Changes (per hr.) e. Room Pressure (POS/NEG) f. Filter Conditions g. Testing equipment certifications, including but not limited to calibration h. Technician certifications i. Summary table I. Provide a blank sample report 10 working days prior to commencement of on-site activities. Subcontractor to implement comments prior to issuance of draft and final report.
