a) All tents and canopies must meet State Fire Marshal requirements. Tents and canopies must have attached label or accompanying certificates indicating compliance with State Fire Marshal requirements. b) Concrete blocks are required to be used to weigh down tents. Concrete blocks must be clean, serviceable, and free of any structural or aesthetic defects. Staking into asphalt and dirt will only occur with prior approval from Cal Expo designated management. Water barrels will not be permitted. c) All canopies must have eight (8) or ten-(10) foot legs. d) All canopy/tent tie-down straps and rope must be white in color. Other colors are not acceptable. e) Lights will be included in all tents and canopies, and sidewalls are optional, unless specifically ordered.
