Specifications include, but are not limited to: Task 1: Readiness Assessment, SME Support and Business Procedures - Readiness Assessments - The consultant will assess the City's strict compliance with all applicable existing and future registrations. The consultant will work with the City's staff to help review and assess its compliance documentation and plans for the NERC requirements that are applicable to the City. - Make detailed recommendations to a) correct found deficiencies, or b) improve compliance or operational processes in order to strengthen compliance with NERC Reliability Standards. - Assist with assessment of NERC Reliability Standards compliance requirements for any new NERC Functions that the City either is or will be registering for, and the development and implementation of business processes required for compliance with Standards applicable to those Functions. - In addition to the reliability standards, the consultant will utilize Compliance Application Notices (CAN), public notices, adopted interpretations, and Reliability Standard Audit Worksheet (RSAW) where appropriate to determine compliance. - SME Training - The consultant will prepare and conduct training sessions to train SME's in providing testimony during audits. The consultant will subsequently provide practice sessions for the SME's to practice what they have learned. The consultant will provide direct feedback to the SME's. The consultant will provide input to compliance staff on the scheduling of SME's for the audit
