The City intends to enter into a contractor agreement for the small business support and technical assistance to the formation as well as guidance of a downtown business association for merchants located in the downtown branded as “Rivertown” in Antioch, CA. Antioch’s downtown, often referred to as the Rivertown District, is located along the southern bank of the San Joaquin River in Northern California. It primarily covers the area around 2nd Street, 3rd Street, and G Street, stretching towards the riverfront. This area includes the historic El Campanil Theatre, various local businesses, restaurants, and Antioch Marina. The downtown boundaries are generally considered to be from L Street to A Street, with the river serving as the northern edge and extending a few blocks south into the core of the city's historic district
