Specifications include, but are not limited to: The CONTRACTOR shall provide enhanced education services to juvenile probationers (participants) between the ages of 15-18 at Camp Gonzales. Camp Gonzales is a secure residential detention facility located at 1301 North Las Virgenes Road, Calabasas, CA 91302. COUNTY anticipates making approximately seventy-five (75) referrals annually. The objective of the services is to engage camp participants in enriched opportunities that result in educational and vocational pathways that ultimately lead to meaningful employment. The services will provide participants with a supportive learning enrichment environment designed to challenge their intellectual curiosity, cultivate their academic capabilities, and prepare them for employment. This objective will be achieved through the following: 1.1.1 Assessment of academic and vocational strengths and weaknesses of participants. 1.1.2 Development of an Individualized Service Plan (ISP) for each participant that covers educational and/or vocational training while in camp with subsequent recommendations for services in the community, and integration of the ISP with each participant's overall case plan for camp and aftercare. 1.1.3 Implementation of the ISP utilizing best practice instructional model(s) that focus on educational services for participants housed in a detention/residential treatment facility who may exhibit a full range of behaviors, poor self concepts, and history of school failures, to prepare participants for transition to community educational/vocational providers
