• Provide evaluations/consultations for seating and positioning, motor abilities, mobility and ambulation of individuals. • Instruct caregivers/staff in carrying out home therapy programs. • Instruct individuals in walking, standing, balance, use of crutches, or other mobility devices, i.e. wheelchairs, walkers, lower extremity bracing and canes, specialized equipment (orthotics, prosthetics), and adaptive footwear, i.e. shoes modified with lifts and/or inserts. • Instruct individuals/caregivers/staff in the care of mobility devices, specialized equipment, and adaptive footwear. • Attend clinics and IDT meetings as needed. Keep clinical notes and records and make reports. • Maintain service-related records in accordance with facility policy. • Evaluate, recommend and submit requests for expenditures of wheelchairs and other durable medical equipment to the Senior O.T. upon request. • Provide Physical Therapy Treatment as ordered by the Physician.
