The Contractor shall provide comprehensive code enforcement services, including, but not limited to, the following: 2.1 PERSONNEL PROVISION AND STAFFING ADJUSTMENT • Provide a minimum of up to five (5) full-time equivalent (FTE) contract Code Enforcement Officers to address current vacancies within the NSS. • The number of contracted Code Enforcement Officers will be reduced in a direct ratio to each successful hire of a City Code Enforcement Officer by the City of Stockton. The City will provide timely notification of internal hires to facilitate this adjustment. 2.2 PERSONNEL QUALIFICATIONS • Each contract Code Enforcement Officer provided by the Contractor shall possess a minimum of three (3) years of direct experience in municipal code enforcement or a closely related field. • International Code Council (ICC) or California Association of Code Enforcement Officers (CACEO) certifications are preferred but not required. • Successfully passing a Police Department background clearance may be required for all personnel. 2.3 WORK LOCATION AND SCHEDULE • Contract Code Enforcement Officer(s) shall work out of the City of Stockton's designated cubicles within the Neighborhood Services Section. • Officers shall maintain a regular schedule of office hours as determined by the City's Neighborhood Services Section management, possibly including evening, nighttime, weekend, and phase schedule scheduling.
