4.2. Specs or Service Requirements Access Control Alarm Monitoring System (ACAMS) The existing ACAMS is an automated system that meets the requirements for an Access Control System for Secured Areas under 49 Code of Federal Regulations §1542.207(a)(l)-(3). In direct support of the ONT Airport Security Program (ASP), the ACAMS, to include interactive hardware (equipment) and software (programs), is a critical access control component that consists of multiple systems, subsystems, and components to manage and control the entry and exit of persons through numerous points of entry, to include facility pedestrian doors, turnstiles, and perimeter fenceline pedestrian and vehicle gates. Any reference to ACAMS shall include the application software, badging/credentialing system, and all supported, and/or integrated software, systems, devices, components and hardware detailed in this RFP. The ACAMS is a critical airport system and no unscheduled ACAMS downtime will be allowed at any time for any purpose.
