Through this Request for Proposal (RFP), NUSD seeks strategic partners who can design and deliver full-day, high-quality summer programming that strengthens academic achievement, prevents summer learning loss, and provides meaningful enrichment opportunities. Programs will operate for a minimum of 30 non-school days, offering students nine (9) hours of structured, engaging programming daily. The purpose of this RFP is to expand learning beyond the traditional school year by offering students equitable access to academic support, enrichment, youth development, and family engagement opportunities that are: ● Aligned with NUSD’s Strategic Plan and LEAP Academy priorities, including literacy and math achievement, social-emotional wellness, and student leadership. ● Safe, developmentally appropriate, and inclusive, ensuring that all students including English learners, socioeconomically disadvantaged students, foster youth, and students with disabilities,have equitable opportunities to thrive. ● Staffed by qualified, trained professionals, with a commitment to cultural responsiveness, positive youth development, and strong partnerships with school site staff.
