San Bernardino County Department of Behavioral Health (DBH), which may also be referred to as the “County” or by DBH-Substance Use Disorder and Recovery Services (SUDRS), is seeking proposals from interested and qualified organizations and agencies to provide a proposed plan for the provision of Rapid Re-housing services for any/all target populations to include eligible CalWORKS clients as assessed and identified as eligible for Family Stabilization services. Family Stabilization services help clients that the County has identified as having a crisis which de-stabilizes their family. Rapid Re-housing services is a program within the Family Stabilization program. Rapid Re-Housing is a housing program model that helps clients obtain stable and permanent housing. The objectives of Rapid Re-Housing services are to: • House clients as quickly as possible; • Provide intensive case management services so clients can sustain permanent housing by addressing behavioral health barriers; and • Focus on other areas to remove barriers to participating in CalWORKS activities such as Welfare to Work, once clients have a stable living environment DBH is looking for organizations and agencies interested in serving all regions of the County of San Bernardino: Desert/Mountain, East Valley, Central Valley, and West Valley regions.
