Specifications include, but are not limited to: Cabrillo is seeking a private-sector partner for the on-campus student housing development. The objective for this partnership includes securing a highquality student housing Developer and Operator to partner in the following: 1. Design, build, finance, operate, and maintain a new student housing on the Cabrillo College campus. The project presents an opportunity to become a long-term partner with Cabrillo College in supporting student success through housing. The following outlines the projects which constitute this partnership opportunity. Project overview To foster Cabrillo College campus culture and student success, the College is looking to develop its first on-campus student housing project with the development of a student housing facility. The proposed project site is located at 2701 Cabrillo College Drive, Aptos, CA 95003 where the current site is an athletic field and is adjacent to another athletic field and is proximate to the main campus buildings across the street. The new housing facility will feature student-focused amenities and may incorporate spaces that support the academic mission of the College and build campus community. This project is also meant to be intersegmental, where UC Santa Cruz (“UC Santa Cruz”) will be designated a portion of the beds for their students. Cabrillo College will have the majority of the beds and will be the lead entity on the development, but UC Santa Cruz is a stakeholder and will be a partner with Cabrillo in the project.
