Contractor agrees to provide to the California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) Structural Beam Repair as described herein: Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, parts, tools, equipment, legal disposal and incidentals needed to legally dispose of existing material that needs to be taken out and install new reinforced structural beams. Detailed Description of Work: A. Retaining Wall Repair: 1) Contractor shall remove all loose and damaged cement from the door opening retaining wall area located at the structure beam. 2) Contractor shall reinforce and rebuild the existing retaining wall using cement and mortar to restore structural integrity. 3) Contractor shall ensure all repairs are properly finished, aligned, and structurally sound. B. Structural Beams 1) Contractor shall inspect all beams at the front entrance of the structure. 2) The existing beams are intact but exhibit noticeable surface damage; Contractor shall repair and patch as needed to restore to original condition. C. Exterior Panels 1) The exterior panels on the building measure approximately 12 feet by 16 feet. 2) Contractor shall remove and replace all damaged panels located on the front side of the building. 3) Contractor shall ensure panels are securely installed to match existing construction and appearance. D. Roofing Repairs 1) During wall and panel repairs, Contractor may need to replace one or two sections of roofing material. 2) Contractor shall ensure that replacement roofing materials and associated labor shall be included in the total cost of repairs.
