The District is looking for consulting firms who have demonstrated experience in delivering high quality construction management (CM) and inspection professional services for wastewater force mains in public right-of-way and private property in a safe and effective manner. Prior experience managing the construction of wastewater force mains and working within public and private right-of-way is required. The construction work of the Project generally consists of: • Installation of approximately 10,000-lineal feet of 20-inch pipe and appurtenances within County right-of-way and private roadways and within District easements. • Temporary installation of a bypass pipeline to manage force main flows during construction within a 10-foot-wide easement. • Replacement of an 8-inch waterline in the same 10-foot-wide easement and verifying that installation meets the requirements of the Division of Drinking Water waiver. • Abandonment of approximately 2,000 lineal feet of 12-inch asbestos cement pipe and appurtenances.
