This is an invitation to provide street tree pruning services as required by the City of Sunnyvale (City) in accordance with the specifications, terms and conditions specified herein. Initial contract term shall be for a one-year period. Contract may be renewed for three additional one-year period provided services and costs are acceptable to the City. The City is soliciting bids from qualified tree care and maintenance firms (“Contractor”) for the award of a contract to primarily provide ISA structural pruning services for the City’s 38,000 street trees. The purpose of this maintenance contract is to provide the City with the best possible tree care to maintain the City's Street Trees and Urban Forest at a level expected by the City’s residents, City Council, City staff, and visitors of the community. The selected firm will work closely with the City’s Urban Landscape Manager and/or the City Arborist staff to insure the most appropriate care and maintenance of the City's Street Trees and Urban Forest with sensitivity to the City, its residents and visitors.
