1. General Construction: a. Traffic control and flagging for public safety during ingress and egress of construction traffic. b. Mobilization and demobilization. c. Demolition and removal of existing equipment. d. Identification and abatement of hazardous material. e. Construct new reinforced concrete and masonry Stationary Engine Generator (SEG) Enclosure equipment pads to support SEG and Unit Substation within SEG Enclosure. f. Furnish and install 150kW SEG into new SEG Enclosure. g. Site acceptance and operation testing. 2. Earthwork and Other Related Work: a. Excavation and compacted backfill for SEG Enclosure and electrical duct banks. b. Placing aggregate base, controlled low strength material, and hot mix asphalt. 3. Electrical Work: a. Remove existing 13.8 kV to 480-volt Unit Substation, dispose removed equipment, furnish and install new equipment as shown. b. Remove existing Motor Control Center (MCC), dispose removed equipment, furnish and install new equipment as shown. c. Furnish and install Manual Transfer Switch (MTS1) in existing SEG room. d. Furnish and install all the cables between SEG enclosure/Unit Substation enclosure and Spillway Control Room. e. Replace Power and Control cables between Spillway Control Room and gate motors on hoist deck. f. Furnish and testing of Temporary Mobile Generator Controller for gate motors. g. Furnish, install and testing of Lighting control panel (TPL1) in existing SEG room. h. Furnish and install of Panel board (TPA1 and TPA2) in existing SEG room. i. Furnish and install of Dry type transformer (TT1) in existing SEG room. j. Field wire Department’s furnished PLC cubicle. k. Install Department furnished Communication equipment. l. Furnish and install equipment enclosure in SEG building. m. Furnish and install fiber distribution unit (FDU) in SEG equipment enclosure. n. Furnish and install CAT 6 patch panel in SEG equipment enclosure. o. Furnish and install CAT 6 cable between Slide Gate network enclosure and SEG equipment enclosure. p. Furnish and install CAT 6 cable between Wedge Blocker Control Panel and SEG equipment enclosure. q. Terminate all fiber optic cable and CAT 6 cable in SEG equipment enclosure. r. Install Department’s furnished fixed cameras on SEG building. s. Furnish and relocate network cabinet in Spillway Control Room. t. Furnish and install Power Distribution Unit (PDU), Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) and Fiber Distribution Unit in Spillway Control Room network cabinet. u. Terminate all fiber optic cable and CAT 6 cable in the Spillway Control Room. v. Relocate network equipment from existing network enclosure to new network cabinet in Spillway Control Room.
