Specifications include, but are not limited to: The objective of this Request for Proposal is to award up to three (3) agreements to businesses and/or non-profit entities to operate Stand-Up Paddleboard (SUP) and Kayak Rentals at two (2) locations in the Huntington Harbor (Exhibit “A”). Due to the lack of parking availability in the Harbor, the City seeks to contract with individuals or businesses with physical locations within the area of the instructional sites (see Section I. A. Purpose for location details). The term of each agreement shall be two-years (2) with the options for up to two (2) additional one-year (1) terms upon mutual written agreement. This opportunity is to provide safe, enjoyable and high-quality SUP and Kayak Rentals with safety instructions at reasonable prices to the public while fairly allocating limited harbor resources. The awarded agreements will commence in Fall/Winter 2022.
