1. Training will be provided by Caterpillar certified instructors, at OCWR facilities, utilizing OCWR owned heavy equipment. 2. Training will include machine safety, conducting walkaround inspections, operator controls, startup/shutdown procedures, operation of Cat® equipment based on both landfill industry requirements and earthmoving fundamentals. 3. Classes will be limited in size (4-6 students at a time) and the length of training will be determined by individual need. 4. Training will include a pre-assessment to determine the student current skill set and establish training plan to which will bring the operator to industry standard level of competent. 5. Each training will conclude with a safety quiz, a written knowledge assessment and performance level. 6. Due to the customized nature of this training the length of each class is subject to change, not to exceed two days per equipment family. More than one student may be instructed simultaneously. 7. Additional training days may be added upon written request by the contract manager.
