1. Run new fiber from the MDF at each school to each IDF. 2. All copper cables shall be CAT6. 3. Run CAT6 cable from each IDF to the speaker locations listed in Attachment A. The cable will terminate with an RJ45 Jack in the existing speaker location. 4. The speaker & clock units Type 1, 2, & 3, as depicted in Attachment I, are wall-mounted and have a box in the wall with existing conduit or raceway on the wall. The existing conduit or raceway should be used for the CAT6 cable runs when possible. 5. Attachment A = lists the rooms at each school and the corresponding data drops, a total of 178. 6. Attachment B = shows the path of the underground conduit at SHES. 7. Attachment C = shows the path of the underground conduit at CELC. 8. Attachment D = shows the path of the underground conduit at JMMS. 9. No drawings are available for the conduit at BOES, but it does exist and has plenty of room for additional fiber or CAT6. 10. Attachment E = location of MDF, IDF, & electrical rooms/panels. 11. Attachment F = count of switches at each IDF & MDF location. 12. Attachment G = fiber equipment manufacture & part number that shall be used. 13. Attachment H = location of CAT6 drop in each school’s admin office & the DO. 14. Attachment I = photos of typical speakers or speaker & clock combinations. 15. Replace the patch panels at each MDF and properly label them, handwritten labels are not acceptable.
