The Air Force Test Center (AFTC) is publicizing this Sources Sought Notice to gather industry information regarding PREVENTATIVE MAINTENANCE OF VEHICLE EXHAUST REMOVAL SYSTEM at Edwards AFB and Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL), California.
The Government is seeking to identify qualified, experienced, and interested firms, who can perform PREVENTATIVE MAINTENANCE OF VEHICLE EXHAUST REMOVAL SYSTEMS in accordance with the "Draft" Statement of Work (SOW) dated 15 April 2025.
The contractor(s) shall furnish all supervision, equipment, tools, labor, and supplies necessary to perform for annual inspection, preventive maintenance and repair of vehicle exhaust removal systems located in Fire Stations 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 located on Edwards Air Force Base (EAFB), and Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL), California. The work shall be performed in accordance with (IAW) this SOW, industry standards and/or manufacturer recommendations, whichever is strictest located throughout Edwards Air Force.
It is anticipated that the PREVENTATIVE MAINTENANCE OF VEHICLE EXHAUST REMOVAL SYSTEM will be a definitive contract with one (1) base year and 4 option periods. (FAR 16.5.) The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) number for this effort is 811114 – Specialized Automotive Repair. The Product Service Code (PSC) for this effort is J025.
Capability Statements shall be limited to no more than five pages and shall clearly state the following: Capability in PREVENTATIVE MAINTENANCE OF VEHICLE EXHAUST REMOVAL SYSTEM on a similar scope and scale to Edwards AFB. Offerors who cannot provide historical information for their company regarding PREVENTATIVE MAINTENANCE OF VEHICLE EXHAUST REMOVAL SYSTEM of similar scope/scale should provide corresponding information to show how your company would meet the requirements of the SOW. This information should provide a strong level of confidence in the Government that an offeror would meet or exceed the performance requirements outlined in the SOW.
In addition, provide/answer the following:
(1) Company name, address, point(s) of contact, title, telephone number, fax number, email address, Cage Code and SAM UEI number.
(2) Company's business size, to include number of employees.
(3) Company's socioeconomic status to include, but not limited to: 8(a), SDB, and WOSB, SDVOSB.

This request for capability information does not constitute a request for quote (RFQ); submission of any information in response to this market survey is purely voluntary; the Government assumes no financial responsibility for any costs incurred.
