This project includes partial alteration of the office building purchased by Tuolumne County Ambulance Service, located at 20111 Cedar Road North, Sonora, CA 95370 to incorporate an ambulance station within the existing footprint which also houses the Public Health Department. Interior modifications will include but are not limited to new offices, conference/training rooms, a dayroom, kitchen, laundry room, sleeping rooms, and storage/support spaces. New information technology (IT) infrastructure, including network cabling, audio/visual equipment pathways, wireless access, badge access control, radio and phone communications will also be installed. Exterior improvements include but are not limited to ADA upgrades, a new shade trellis, the replacement of rotting exterior wood stairs, and a backup generator to power the entire building. A portion of the on-site parking will be re-striped to include a new carport for the Ambulance and Public Health vans. Additionally, the project includes re-striping and fencing a portion of the existing parking lot on the County's adjacent parcel (044-420-041). Selective demolition for the preparation of new work will include: Selective removal of existing concrete, asphalt concrete, and asphalt curb. Selective removal of existing vegetation. Selective removal of existing gate and fencing. Removal of existing shade structure at existing deck, existing stairs and associated railings, and existing light poles. Removal and salvage of existing County sign. Removal and salvage of existing plumbing fixtures, countertop.
