Specifications include, but are not limited to: Lighting and Decoration Plan Please provide a decoration plan for the following areas: 1. All trees in Solvang Park: twenty-one trees + Christmas Tree 2. Gazebo Work Description- Design Contractor shall provide the final design of all agreed upon areas 30 days prior to installation unless an earlier date is required for discounted ordering. Design shall include, but are not limited to: • Conceptual drawing indicating lighting, up-lighting with style, décor and lights for all indicated areas. • Four immersive light shows consisting of automated moving lights, audio systems and additional LED/conventional lighting fixtures to put on a visual and auditory experience. The shows would run at 5pm, 6pm, 7pm, 8pm and 9pm from November 29, 2024-January 5, 2025. • Creative music design (with input from the City) and mixing provided to run four shows (as above) lasting approximately 8-10 minutes each, seven days a week. Three shows shall consist of: traditional Christmas music, somewhat modern Christmas music, and New Years themed music (to be played after Christmas from December 26, 2024-January 5, 2025). The fourth show would be specific to the tree lighting and play only one time on December 6, 2024. All music must be mixed and ready (along with list of songs provided) for City staff review by November 15 allowing ample time to make necessary changes for City staff review of entire show on November 22. • Methods of installation in relation to the plan • Tree trimming and pruning requirements requested of the City, if applicable • Installation timeframe • Purchasing of lighting to be owned by the City of Solvang. Lighting and cabling (if used) would stay up year-round.
