Problem Statement: The City is required to track and report on a wide range of data in order to comply with California’s Senate Bill 1383 (“SB 1383”) on organics recycling. This data includes information from the City’s contracted haulers (“Service Providers”) on organics, garbage, and recycling collection services. It also includes material stream contamination audits, service waivers, inspections and enforcement activities, education and outreach, procurement of organic waste products and paper, and other records required by the SB 1383 Regulations. The City currently does not have an efficient solution for tracking and reporting on the data. Expected Outcome: Through this solicitation, the City will implement a Solid Waste Tracking and Management Software that allows it to collect, track, and report on the data that is required by SB 1383.
