The City is requesng proposals from Collectors that have demonstrated experience and success in providing residenal and commercial collecon, recycling, and disposal services as described in this RFP. The City seeks proposals from enes that have demonstrated delivery of exemplary customer service to all residents and businesses, in a manner that is cost effecve and supports landfill diversion. The City intends to award one (1) Collector a contract for residenal and commercial waste, recyclables, and green waste collecon services through a Franchise Agreement. The Franchise Agreement provides the Collector the exclusive right to perform residenal and commercial waste and recyclables collecons services throughout the City. The Collector will pay the City a franchise fee, established by City resoluon, for the exclusive right to perform the specified services. The Franchise Fee represents a percentage of the gross collecon revenues received by the Collector from the City residenal and commercial customer base. As part of their proposal, Collectors shall propose a franchise fee expressed as a percentage of gross revenue.
