Specifications include, but are not limited to: The City of Novato is planning to replace its current financial information systems environments with a new integrated financial information system, and to adopted systems functionality to support core human resources and time entry processes. In doing so, the City seeks to address several challenges in the current environment, including but not limited to: There is limited or inadequate functionality in the current system to support certain business processes generally available in modern ERP systems. Multiple business processes require duplicate data entry. There is significant reliance on MS Excel, manual, and paper-based processes. Workflow is not widely available in the current system. There is limited querying and reporting functionality in the current environment. Manual data entry and manipulation is required to produce state-mandated reports. Purchasing activities are not entered into HTE.
