Liquid sodium hypochlorite is to be delivered to the SacSewer facility located at 8521 Laguna Station Road, Elk Grove, CA, 95758 by tanker truck in liquid form. It is transferred from a tanker truck through equal or less than 3” PVC, ASTM D1785, schedule 80 piping. The tanker trucks utilize SacSewer’s off-loading pumps to deliver chemical into 12 storage tanks sized for 20,000 gallons each. SacSewer has 4 receiving stations and can unload up to 4 tanker trucks simultaneously. Tanker trucks are typically unloaded by 150 GPM pumps owned and operated by SacSewer; however, a tanker truck with an air pad system could also use its own system to unload chemical to the storage tanks if SacSewer staff on site to receive the delivery allow it. Facilities provide 6 days of chemical storage at average dry weather flow conditions, and less than 3 days of storage at peak demand wet weather conditions. SacSewer is staffed with its most operations staff from Monday-Friday, 7am to 2pm; however; deliveries are to occur 7 days/week as needed
