Specifications include, but are not limited to: providing SLE bed-days and services to twelve (12) females per day and male AB 109 individuals in Kern County. • Maintain SLE certification through the Kern County Mental Health Department. • Have a proven record of providing services to this population for the three (3) years immediately prior to this application. • Provide SLE bed days and at least one supportive service. Supportive services include: o sobriety and recovery supportive services; o continuum of care between in-custody services and community-based services; o education services; o employment/vocational services, and transportation support services; o Medi-Cal/ACA enrollment assistance; or o another evidence-based program, proven practice, or best practice to improve outcomes of the AB 109 population and are aimed at reducing recidivism. • Collaborate with county departments and other community-based organizations.
