a. Under the direction of California State Parks' Environmental Scientist, contractor shall provide all labor, tools, materials, travel, and equipment to perform banding services for the Western Snowy Plover and Western Snowy Plover chick broods located throughout Orange Coast District. At the end of the season, contractor shall provide an end of season banding report in accordance with details below. a. All work shall be conducted throughout Orange Coast District during the 2025, 2026, and 2027 breeding seasons. b. Contractor shall provide under the direction of Department of Parks and Recreation's Environmental Scientist (DPR ES) who is the State Representative for this contract, banding services for the Western snowy plover to track the population dynamics and movement of snowy plovers at Orange Coast District State Beaches during breeding season commencing April 1st through September 15th. All materials shall be provided by the contractor. Contractor vehicle access will be restricted to parking lots and drivable areas that the public are permitted to access. Contactor will either be on foot or be escorted in State Park vehicles by State Park representatives.
