Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. Contractor will provide snow removal and sanding services as required at the following County facilities: Truckee Government Center 10879 Donner Pass Road Truckee, CA 96161 Truckee Library 10031 Levon Ave. Truckee, CA 96161 Truckee Joseph Building 10075 Levon Ave. Truckee, CA 96161 5.2. Normal operating hours of the facilities are as follows: Truckee Government Center (Sheriff Sub-station): 24 hours every day Truckee Library: Monday Friday 8:00-7:00 Truckee Joseph Building: Monday Friday 8:00-5:00 The Truckee Library and the Joseph Building are closed on the following holidays: New Years Day, Martin Luther King Day, Presidents Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Columbus Day, Veterans Day, Thanksgiving Day and the day after Thanksgiving, and Christmas Day. Weekend and holiday services will be required only upon request from Facilities Management for the Truckee Library and Truckee Joseph Building. 5.3. Snow shall be removed when an accumulation of snow, ice, or sludge exceeds 4 inches in depth. 5.4. Sanding will be performed as required when pavement is wet and the temperature is below 32 degrees or expected to drop below 32 degrees within (4) hours in order to keep the parking lots safe during the designated days and hours when the County is open for business. 5.5. Parking lots must be cleared at the Truckee Joseph Building and the Truckee Library before 7:00 a.m., Monday through Friday, except for the holidays noted above. 5.6. Parking lots must be cleared at the Government Center before 7:00 a.m. every day. 5.7. Hand shoveling of walks and entrances is not a routine service, but under certain circumstances may be required. 5.8. Contractor is required to provide a 24 hour contact telephone number.
