Specifications include, but are not limited to: Document Shredding Services, Recycling, Hard disk drive & Optical disk destruction B.1 Onsite mobile shredding service for paper documents containing confidential and/or sensitive information and all hard disk drive and optical disks to County Departments. Services shall meet the standards of National Security Agency/Central Security Service (NSA/CSS) Policy 9-12, or other applicable standard, when required. Services shall be provided to meet the specific needs of each County Department and shall comply with all requirements of a resulting contract. B.2 Pickup of bulk paper that is determined non-confidential that may be transported back to selected contractor’s facility for shredding. B.3 Supply an adequate number of containers, equipment, and labor sufficient enough to meet the need of each County Department requiring services. B.4 Upon commencement of the awarded contract, meet with each County department individually to determine department needs and schedule. B.5 Possess and maintains all appropriate permits and licenses necessary in the performance of services required under this contract. Copies of all licenses must be provided upon request. B.6 Work Closely with County Departments to ensure that materials are destroyed properly, (i.e. cross-cut shredding or pulverizing) and handled as required and in accordance with applicable Federal, State, and local laws. Hard disk drive and optical disk shall be rendered completely unusable in any form and in accordance with applicable law for the information maintained on the hard disk drive and optical disk.
