This project includes a segment of the Caltrans-controlled SR-75 roadway median between Pomona Avenue and Rendova Road. Work involves removing and replacing existing landscaping, irrigation system, upgrading the streetlight power, replacing streetlight fixtures, removing and installing one street light pole and constructing a new vehicle pullout area. In addition, a crosswalk will be removed and pedestrian barricades installed with other modifications at the north side of the Avenida de las Arenas intersection. This project may also include the following two additional additive scopes of work which are described below: Additive Project #1 extends additional irrigation and landscaping improvements from Avenida De Las Arenas south to Rendova Road. Additive Project #2 includes work to widen a portion of the existing median south of Avenida De Las Arenas in front of the Recreational Center/Community pool facility. The median widening would allow for additional landscaping and irrigation improvements in this newly constructed area.
