The work shall include but is not limited to the furnishing of all labor, materials, tools, equipment, including all incidentals and appurtenances required for the removal, demolition, disposal, and the construction of the Sherwood Recreation Center Improvement Project, as shown on the Plans and as specified herein these Specifications. The project covers the renovation of interiors to the existing building and minor site electrical work. • Exterior building signage to be under separate permit. • Removal of shingles and reskin of building using metal panels. • Removal of CMU screen walls at the west side of the facility and installation of new landscape elements. • Slurry coating, repair, restriping of west parking lot and replacement of sidewalks and fencing. • Replacement of slab on grade at selected areas. • Limited interior mechanical and architectural casework. • Hazardous material removal of lead paint. • Demo of the old chimney and hazardous material removal of asbestos-containing material at the old chimney. • Replacement of existing exit door and addition of braille exit signs.
