The City of Sacramento, Department of Community Response is soliciting proposals from organizations interested and qualified to operate Transitional Age Youth (TAY) shelter programs, including related supportive services and rehousing efforts. In response to the Request for Proposals, the City anticipates receiving competitive pricing as well as an assurance of quality services. The City intends to award multiple contracts sufficient to maintain the existing TAY shelter capacity of up to 60 beds. Contractors should indicate the number of TAY individuals/households they are proposing to shelter within the maximum daily rate of $85/per shelter-bed night. The total cost of all TAY sheltering contracts must be less than or equal to the not-to-exceed amount of $1,861,500. Each proposal must identify a shelter site located within the City of Sacramento. The City may add subsequent contracts at a later date as necessary to meet the City’s needs. Contractors should use Attachment 11 to complete a one-year budget, including the actual cost of all employees proposed and the cost the City will incur. The agreement utilized under this RFP is reimbursement based. Contractors will be expected to turn in appropriate documentation, including receipts and payroll reports in order to receive reimbursement from the City.
