SCOPE OF WORK The Selected Contractor shall provide the following services to adult victims of sexual assault and their children with the assistance of participating hospital SART Centers and law enforcement personnel. A. Crisis Intervention 1. Selected Contractor shall respond to a minimum of One Hundred (100) sexual assault victims who seek assistance via walk-in, 24-hour crisis hotline, or law enforcement referral. 2. An after-scene response may be necessary, such as when a police station receives a walk-in victim; a sexual assault incident occurs outside SART operational hours; and/or SART Center/hospital intervention is not otherwise feasible. In such cases, Selected Contractor shall ensure a SART Advocate responds to the victim by phone and/or schedules a meeting with the victim at the earliest opportunity, but no later than forty-eight (48) hours following the initial sexual assault report or call for advocacy. 3. Selected Contractor shall provide sexual assault victims with an in-depth briefing on available resources and corresponding materials, including emergency numbers and information about sexual assault victim forensic examination or other assistance. 4. Selected Contractor shall maintain victim confidentiality by obtaining written consent from the victim before providing services; and maintaining a record of victim confidentiality advisements. Selected Contractor shall ensure Advocates are not involved in criminal investigation efforts. Advocates shall not divulge confidential information, data, or other records obtained from victims, without authorized consent. 5. Selected Contractor shall follow law enforcement; Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (“HIPAA”); and agency protocols for maintaining victim confidentiality by adhering to the above-described requirements. 6.
