The selected applicant(s) will be required to design and implement one (1) adaptive skills training program for children who require “wraparound” like supports and services due to intellectual disabilities and/or severe behavioral needs. The service is needed for teens and young adults with developmental disabilities to improve social connections and safety within the community in order to enhance their emotional, mental, and physical well-being. The purpose of the program is to provide an afterschool program for the individuals residing in the Children’s EBSH, located within the NLACRC catchment area in the San Fernando Valley, but may also be expanded to include other teens and young adults who would also benefit from this type of training. Services will be provided with staffing ratios of employee to individuals of 1:2 and 1:3 only
