Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Contractor shall provide Security and Environmental Monitoring and Maintenance services for the Department of Justice (DOJ), Bureau of Forensic Services (BFS) – Richmond Jan Bashinski DNA Laboratory located at 1001 and 1003 West Cutting Blvd. in Richmond, CA 94804. Monitoring and Alarm Notification: The Contractor shall provide twenty-four (24) hours, seven (7) days a week security and environmental monitoring, security cameras and Bosch video equipment monitoring, and provide open/close reports (mailed bi-weekly), for the DOJ/BFS. Monitoring shall include all programming additions/deletions or any other necessary program changes adding/deleting access codes. The DOJ/BFS Jan Bashinski DNA Laboratory will provide a list of personnel to be contacted in sequence in the event of an alarm. The contractor will follow the contact sequence in order until reaching personnel who can respond. Notification of an alarm will allow contacted personnel to initiate an appropriate course of action. Notifications will include the following information: Address of the alarm Alarm type (e.g., glass break, temperature) Alarm location within the building (e.g., corridor 300A, AMS 72965) Whether or not a restoration signal was sent or if the alarm condition was corrected Maintenance: Maintenance shall include all materials, including all installed security systems, environmental temperature alarms, access controls, closed circuit television (CCTV), decoder and recording equipment, wiring, battery replacements, reprogramming user codes for access, immediate requests for activity reports, software upgrades, labor, travel, site visit fees, periodic inspection and testing of all components of the security to make sure it is running properly.
