Specifications include, but are not limited to: The California Department of Education (hereinafter referred to as CDE) is soliciting bids to provide security services located at CDE 1430 N Street, Sacramento, CA 95814; The Contractor shall maintain high visibility, answer routine questions for directions and handle minor problems with courtesy and respect at all times. The Contractor and security personnel are expected to observe and immediately report situations to the appropriate personnel and/or emergency services via telephone, radio, or any means possible. The Contractor and security personnel shall immediately contact local law enforcement or emergency personnel by calling 911 (or 9-911 if calling from a state phone) including, but not limited to, the following cases: firearms, explosives, vandalism, arson, and brandishing of a weapon. The Contractor shall ensure that security personnel will cooperate with CDE personnel in the event of a conflict or disturbance. Security personnel are required to submit an incident report for any incidents occurring during their shift & will work with CDE building security to file an incident report.
