Specifications include, but are not limited to: The purpose of this Request for Proposal (RFP) is to solicit proposals from qualified vendors for the security services asneeded by the District for two high schools, three middle schools, one K-8 school, eight elementary schools, one Districtoffice and one warehouse/maintenance yard. The RFP seeks to create a pool of qualified security services firms whichare able to provide either or both unarmed or armed security services. The intent is to award a contract to multipleContractors; therefore, some Contractors might have unarmed staff which will be used in certain situations, and anotherContractor might have armed staff which would be utilized in other situations. There is no guarantee that all vendorswho are part of District’s pool of qualified vendors will receive a minimum or specified amount of work during the termof any contract.
