Specifications include, but are not limited to:The State Bar seeks proposals for uniformed, unarmed security guard services for its Los Angeles office for a period of three (3) years, with an option to renew for two (2) additional one-year terms, upon mutual written consent. Minimum Requirements: Vendors must be party to the June 22, 2013 collective bargaining agreement with the Service Employees International Union, local 2006 (Los Angeles). Vendors must have a local Downtown Los Angeles branch office. Vendors must have a SECURITY presence in Downtown Los Angeles and currently service a minimum of a dozen active accounts in multi-story office buildings within a 1 mile radius of our 845 S. Figueroa Street, Los Angeles office. Vendors must have immediate additional labor support, management support, a mutual aid program, and continuity plans. Vendors must have exceptional law enforcement relationships. Vendors that do not meet these minimum requirements are not eligible to bid. The State Bar of California will host a vendor pre-bid meeting and facility walk-through to discuss this request in greater detail. Attendance is mandatory for all vendors intending to submit a proposal. The Los Angeles meeting will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, October 22, 2015, at 845 S. Figueroa Street, Los Angeles.
