1) Contractor shall ensure that all services provided are in compliance with all relevant local and state laws, codes, ordinances, regulations, guidelines, manufacturer’s operating and maintenance installation instructions, standards, and any other applicable directives. It is the responsibility of Contractor to be familiar with and adhere to all applicable laws and regulations. Caltrans Contract Manager reserves the right to review and evaluate Contractor's work for compliance with these laws and regulations before payment is made. 2) Contractor shall be responsible for all related functions including but not limited to, the discussion of building plans, permit applications, and compliance related issues. B. Fence Removal 1) Contractor shall furnish all materials and labor to remove approximately 250 feet of the existing chain link fence including the gate and shall be disposed of legally off-site. View Location 1 and Location 2 of Site Map, Attachment 2. 2) Contractor shall furnish all materials and labor to remove approximately 495 feet of the existing expanded metal diamond mesh fence including the gate and shall be disposed of legally off-site. Existing Hollow Steel Structure (HSS) Relocation and Installation Contractor shall furnish all materials and labor to relocate and reinstall approximately 333 feet of existing HSS fencing to any of the new fencing installation below. View Location 4 of Site Map, Attachment 2. D. New Fencing and One (1) Gate Installation 1) Contractor shall furnish all materials and labor to install approximately 577 feet of HSS fencing. View Location 5 of Site Map, Attachment 2. 2) Contractor shall furnish all materials and labor to install approximately 495 feet of HSS fencing. View Location 6 of Site Map, Attachment 2. 3) Contractor shall furnish all materials and labor to install one (1) eight (8) feet by 16 feet opening double drive through HSS gate at entry location. View Location 6 of Site Map, Attachment 2. E. Expanded Metal Mesh Installation. Contractor shall furnish all materials and labor to install approximately overall 1,985 feet of expanded metal mesh on existing and new HSS fencing. View Locations 7 and 8 of Site Map, Attachment 2. F. Bollard Installation Contractor shall install two (2) sturdy steel fold down lockable safety bollard posts with flush mount sleeve at entry gate. View Location 9 of Site Map, Attachment 2. G. In addition to the installation Contractor shall furnish all materials and labor to secure the perimeter to prevent trespassing near the concrete retaining wall. View Location 10 of Site Map, Attachment 2. H. Contractor shall furnish all materials and labor to remove excavated earth and spoils as it pertains to overall installment of HSS fencing and posts. I. Contractor shall furnish all materials and labor to secure facility location perimeters before, during and after business hours while project is in process. J. It is the responsibility of Contractor to program any ports, along with installs.
