Description: Phase I of the Scenic Byway Creek Fire Road Repairs consists of
furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, tools, transportation, incidentals,
inspection, quality control, and supplies necessary to repair the first 5 miles of
Minarets Road in the Sierra National Forest, Madera County, California.
This Invitation for Bids (IFB) is being solicited in accordance with the Schedule,
Contract Clauses, List of Attachments, and Representations & Instructions as
detailed in this solicitation.
This procurement is a TOTAL SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE. The NAICS code is 237310
Highway, Street, and Bridge Construction with a Small Business Size Standard of
$39.5M and Product Service Code is Z2LB Repair or Alteration of
Highways/Roads/Streets/Bridges/Railways.
The Forest Service intends to award one (1) Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP) contract
resulting from this solicitation.
Bid opening will be virtual. Call-in information
will be provided upon request or submission of
bid.
SITE VISIT: In accordance with FAR 52.236-27,
Site Visit, interested vendors MAY arrange to
view the site if weather conditions allow. Some
of the road requiring repair is above 5,000 feet
and may have snow accumulation that might affect
access to the road. ALL requests for site visits

due to weather conditions.
