Specifications include, but are not limited to: six (6) pedestrian gate locks, two (2) door locks for entry door to BLDG 351 and Control Room 102, rebuild kits, motors and gearboxes for two (2) automotive gate entrances, and fabricate four (4) new access control panels.; A. Contractor shall be a California licensed, (C-10 and/or C-13), licensed by the State of California, Department of Consumer Affairs, Contracts State License Board and maintain an active license at all times during the term of this Agreement.; B. Contractor shall provide submittals of all items proposed for installation and shall confirm all measurements before ordering materials. Materials must meet or exceed California State Fire Marshal (SFM) Underwriter Laboratories (UL) fire safety standards and/or be listed on Cal Fire GovMotus Approved Building Materials Listings.; C. Contractor shall work with DSH-N staff to make any necessary adjustments from an access control standpoint.; D. Contractor shall remove and recycle or dispose of old gate locks and wiring in accordance with local, State, and Federal disposal requirements.; E. Contractor shall provide and install eight (8) electric strike locks.; i. Folger Adam 742 Electric Strike, Lock Set, Fail/Secure Mode, or approved equal.; ii. Must meet and/or exceed SFM UL Fire Safety Standards.; F. Contractor shall modify the six (6) existing gate door frames to receive the new locksets.; G. Contractor shall modify the two (2) existing doors and door frames to receive the new locksets.; H. Contractor shall provide and install new gate closers. Closers shall conform to the following specifications: i. Closing speed shall be greater than 5 seconds to close at 90 degrees.; ii. Push and Pull pressure shall be no less than 5 pounds.; iii. Must meet and/or exceed SFM UL Fire Safety Standards.; I. Contractor shall provide and install the following, permanent signage: i. “Entry Restricted and Controlled by Security Personnel” – quantity four (4); J. Contractor shall purchase and install two (2) each motors and gearboxes, one for each automotive gate at the Sallyport.; i. Contractor shall install like for like motor and gearboxes system. Currently installed is an older model Boston gearboxes and motor.; ii. Motors and gearboxes must be able to operate both automatically and manually.; K. Contractor shall purchase and install two (2) each Tymetal rebuild kits (or approved equal), one for each automotive gate at the Sallyport, as recommended or as follows: i. Tymetal PLUSS Primary Drive Rebuild Kit #51554; ii. Tymetal PLUSS Secondary Drive Kit #51550; iii. Tymetal PLUSS Trolley Wheel Kit #51552; iv. Tymetal PLUSS Lock Bar Status Kit #51553; L. All controls, opening forces, closures, and other parts shall comply with 2019 California Building Code and Americans with Disability Act (ADA) Requirements.; M. Contractor shall fabricate two (2) each Main Control Panels and two (2) each Auxiliary Control Panels, to be installed inside the Sallyport office.; i. Button Layout on the all four (4) control panels will be determined by DSH-Napa staff in conjunction with Contractor.
