The City of Sacramento is issuing a Request for Qualifications (RFQ) for general contractors interested in construction of the Sutter’s Landing Park Site (SLPS) Restroom and Concession Building, located at 20 28th Street. The facility is owned by the City of Sacramento and operated by City Youth Parks and Community Enrichment (YPCE). The SLPS project consists of an approximately 1.5-acre site improvement along with a new approximetely 2,500 square feet ground-up masonry building. Work includes but is not limited to a new masonry building with: HVAC equipment, electrical upgrades, methane alarm system, lighting, signage and site work including: parking lot improvements, landscaping, and other work to transform the site into a usable area. The City has retained the services of Collander and Associates (CALA) and their subconsultants to provide site design and mitigation plans. The City has also retained the services of Romtec and their subconsultants for the complete design of the building and key building materials that are outlined on the plans. Any site materials and building materials listed “by others” will be the responsibility of the installing contractor to procure and install.
