Specifications include, but are not limited to: It is the purpose of Riverside University Health System – Behavioral Health (RUHS-BH) to provide a full continuum of care of substance abuse services for the residents of Riverside County. Furthermore, it is the intention of RUHS-BH to provide substance using consumers seeking treatment integrated access to mental health and physical health services. The overall philosophy of the department is to maximize services to clients and to provide support to their families, and significant others within the level of resources of the Department. BACKGROUND Health Care Reform and Substance Abuse Services Under the California State Department of Health Care Services (DHCS) guidance, Riverside County is an Opt-In County under the California Advancing and Innovating Medi-Cal (CalAIM) and Drug Medi-Cal Organized Delivery System (DMC-ODS). As an Opt-in County, RUHS-BH has committed to an ambitious and comprehensive substance abuse program that that offers Riverside County residents a continuum of care never before realized in Riverside County
