The selected Proposer will work with Public Works Department – Engineering Division to provide a complete design of the improvements and prepare Contract Documents for bid and construction. The scope of work includes, but is not limited to, upgrading existing curb ramps to meet ADA guidelines; repairing concrete pavement such as sidewalks, curbs and gutters, and driveways; enhancing signalized intersections with detection cameras and APS pedestrian push buttons; striping, and signage for bike and travel lanes and pedestrian improvements. A detailed Scope of Work is specified in Attachment A. The successful Proposer shall perform its services in a prompt and timely manner and shall commence performance upon the effective date of the agreement. The anticipated project schedule is as follows: • Task 1: The anticipated schedule to complete the bid documents for Project is by the Winter of 2026 to start construction by early Summer 2026 and be completed by the Fall of 2026. The anticipated construction budget is $3-3.5 million. • Task 2: The anticipated schedule to complete the 30% PS&E design for the planning of the street resurfacing projects in 2027 & 2028 is by the Summer of 2026.
