Specifications include, but are not limited to: THE COUNTY OF SAN DIEGO (COUNTY), DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH AND HUMAN SERVICES HAS A REQUIREMENT TO PURCHASE STOP THE BLEED (STB) TRAINING KITS, OR COUNTY APPROVED EQUAL; Health and Human Services, Public Health Services, Public Health Preparedness and Response is responsible for preparing and responding to large scale health emergencies by routinely stocking, maintaining, and distributing emergency preparedness and response supplies to health care entities throughout the County. The STB, or County Approved Equal, training kits will be used to train medical personnel on the use of the STB, or County Approved Equal, kits. This training is essential to the preparedness and response of large-scale health emergencies and training exercise within the County. Provide seventeen (17) Stop the Bleed (STB), or County Approved Equal, Training Kits. Each STB, or County Approved Equal, training kit must contain the following: 3.1.1 Ten (10) Stop the Bleed, or County Approved Equal, Instructional Booklet 3.1.2 One (1) Stop the Bleed, Or County Approved Equal, Instructional Poster 3.1.3 Five (5) Trainer -C_A_T, Or County Approved Equal, Combat Gauze Trainer 3.1.4 Eight (8) QuickClot, or County Approved Equal, Combat Gauze Trainer 3.1.5 Two (2), NAR, or County Approved Equal, Wound Management Simulator 3.1.6 Twelve (12) large Pairs of Responder Nitrile Gloves 3.1.7 One (1) Texas Stop the Bleed, or County Approved Equal, Add-on Kit
