Specifications include, but are not limited to: The successful offeror will provide and operate continuous GemRide(tm) shuttle service that is compliant with Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) rules and regulations. Shuttle service will be required from several HUB locations on a fixed route basis with designated stops to approximately 42 show locations. "Fixed Route Service" is defined as a system in which shuttle vehicles follow a schedule over one or more prescribed routes. Pricing must be presented in a form that divides the proposal between a fixed fee rate per vehicle per day and an hourly rate for partial days (a full day is considered to be 12 hours). The fixed rate fee and hourly rate are based on rent, office maintenance , administrative overhead, insurance, vehicle depreciation, driver wages, trail runs, etc. In addition, the City will allow a variable rate fee based upon fuel expenses that the offeror will incur through the actual performance of the service. The variable rate fee shall be a pass through cost to the City and the contractor must provide fuel receipts with all invoices. Shuttle vehicles will be accessible to everyone including those with disabilities. Therefore, all drivers should possess a high level of personal service by offering boarding assistance, wheelchair lift and securing service, and assistance with shopping bags and packages for those individuals requiring aid. The vehicles to be utilized for this service are the property of the Contractor.
